In April of 2009, I had a very powerful encounter with the Presence of Jesus as the deepest part of me was crying out to Him. There have been many amazing encounters over the years with the keys, strategies, and revelation of His heart that He so wonderfully gives. The main understanding that He gave me out of this particular time spent with Him was on the “unadulterated heart cry”. This unadulterated worship is a lifestyle that we live everyday before our King. “Search me, O God, and know my heart…”(Psalm 139:23-24) Every word and every action reflecting the love and the goodness of our God. This pure worship can also be released as we come together and worship Him with undiluted praise.(2 Chronicles 5:13) In either setting, it is all to the honor and the glory of our Beautiful Lord and Mighty God!
Listen to the description of the word unadulterated out of the Webster’s Dictionary: Not diluted or made impure by adulterating; pure=absolute, perfect, plain, sheer, simple, undiluted, unmixed, organic, immaculate.
Our worship, as a lifestyle as individuals and in a gathering, is pure when it has not been mixed with contaminants (i.e. pride, selfish ambition, wrong heart motives, etc.). Our worship becomes diluted when we are more worried about what man thinks than wanting to please His heart. Our worship to Him should be plain and simply coming to Him as we are–no pretense. Our worship is organic when it is “home-grown” in our own hearts. The worship we offer up to the Lord of Glory is perfect and immaculate when He is the absolute Center and Affection of our worship.
It is our unadulterated heart cry of worship that opens the Heavens and brings the Spirit of the Living God on the scene. We have the humbling and amazing privilege of ushering in and facilitating this atmosphere of Heaven on earth as worshipers of God Most High! The music, songs, words, and sounds of Heaven, when released by the Spirit of God through us, are a creative force for the Kingdom of God–and a destructive force against the kingdom of darkness. (2 Chronicles 20:1-24)
The glory of God’s Presence rides on the sound waves of our worship, and brings the atmosphere of Heaven. (He inhabits our praises–He dwells in our praises!) It is this atmosphere that pushes back and dispels the darkness. It is in this atmosphere that we hear the Voice of God and KNOW His heart. It is in this atmosphere that hearts are recreated and creative miracles take place. It is in this creative atmosphere of Heaven that Jesus is lifted up. He is exalted and all men are drawn to Him! It is in this atmosphere that destinies are changed and re-routed for eternity! (Acts 16:25-31)
“Father God, we pray that our hearts will always be turned to You. That with full assurance and sincerity, as Your children, we cry, ‘Abba, Father’. (Romans 8:15) That our Lord Jesus will always be exalted as we release pure and undiluted praise through our song and through our lives. That our worship and our lives would reflect your glory, and all men would be drawn to You!”
For the King and the Kingdom! Tammy
